Come join us for Paws in the Park!

On 9/20 the ARL in Westbrook Maine will be holding their annual Paws in the Park. Along with the events, there is a fund raising dog walk for the ARL. (Please see the pledge form below). AABGDR will have a booth and of course lots of Danes! If you'd like to come with your dog/Dane, please do. Dogs need to be on a leash at all times and each dog must have one handler. For safety reasons, please, no Flexi leads.  Paws in the Park will be held in Deering Oaks Park in Portland, Maine.

Please let us know if you'll be attending. There will be other rescues, vendors, and events. This is a large event and a whole lot of fun.

Steph & Kooper and Lisa & Django will help fulfill the wish of a resident at a Massachusetts Nursing Home. His wish is to be visited by Great Danes. The request is being granted through The Twillight Wish Foundation.

AABGDR's Steph and Lisa will be guest lecturing at Bates College on May 12th on rescue dogs. The class, For the Love of Dogs, is taught by Associate Professor Lavina Shankar . This class is not open to the public.
